Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Subcontract Manager to join the Supply Chain Management team in Salt Lake City. You will manage end-to-end subcontract processes, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and lead negotiations with key suppliers.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience (or graduate degree with fewer years) and strong communication skills. Travel about 30% and DoD lifecycle knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree reduces required experience
• 5 years experience negotiating cost elements, price, schedule and terms & conditions
• 5 years experience with various DoD Program lifecycles (development, production, post-production)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end subcontract lifecycle from requirements to close-out
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal procedures
• Negotiate subcontracts and lead source selections
• Communicate effectively with program teams and suppliers
• Travel ~30% of the time and manage multiple contracts
