Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Procurement Specialist in Salt Lake City to drive strategic sourcing for DoD programs. You will coordinate RFx activities, analyze supplier quotes, and ensure compliant purchase orders aligned with FAR/DFAR requirements.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years DoD procurement experience (or 11+ years without a degree). ERP experience, preferably SAP, and ability to secure applicable clearances are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 9+ years in procurement within a DoD environment.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR/DPAS and government contracting.
• ERP systems experience; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFQ/RFP activities with program managers and suppliers.
• Analyze supplier quotes to select best value and compliant proposals.
• Document fair and reasonable pricing per FAR; ensure conformance to requirements.
• Write negotiation plans and negotiate long-term pricing with suppliers.
• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Manage supplier performance and open orders; conduct PBRs as needed.
