Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City is seeking a Subcontract Manager to lead end-to-end acquisition lifecycle for complex RF system subcontracts. This role supports compliance with FAR/DFARS, manages supplier performance, and coordinates with program teams to align on technical scope, schedule, and cost.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in DoD programs, negotiation of terms, and experience across development, production, and post-production lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years of related experience; graduate degree with 7+ years; or 13+ years without a degree.
• 5 years negotiating cost elements, price, schedule and terms & conditions.
• 5 years with various DoD program lifecycles (development, production, post-production).

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance in technical scope, schedule, and cost and generate scorecards.
• Apply project management expertise to complex RF system subcontracts.
• Cost Account Manager for key subcontractors, handling Earned Value and variance reporting.
• Navigate FAR/DFARS regulations and internal procedures for compliance.
• Lead negotiations and develop negotiation strategies.
• Communicate with program teams and suppliers to ensure alignment and on-time closeout.
