Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Sr Specialist, Procurement in Salt Lake City to support DoD contracting activities. The role involves coordinating pricing with Program Managers, evaluating supplier quotes, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and DFAR requirements.

You will manage purchase orders, SOWs, and supplier performance, driving cost-effective sourcing for defense programs. Required are a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with multiple years of DoD procurement experience, strong negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pricing efforts with Program Managers and buyers to support proposals.
• Analyze supplier quotes to determine best source based on cost and delivery.
• Review drawings and incorporate terms into purchase orders; flow down schedule requirements.
• Ensure conformance criteria are communicated to suppliers to meet delivery requirements.
• Perform cost/price analysis per FAR/DFAR; document fair pricing.
