Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, communications, government relations, or community outreach.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting infrastructure, construction, transportation, or other capital projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience writing proposals, bids, grant applications, or other persuasive business documents.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% or depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day stakeholder engagement and communications programs for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to public agency clients, project teams, and contractors, providing strategic communications guidance.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies that foster understanding and maintain relationships with communities, businesses, officials.
• Prepare clear communications materials and executive-level messaging translating complex technical information.
• Manage public meetings, stakeholder inquiries, and issue resolution efforts to support objectives.
• Analyze stakeholder feedback and provide strategic recommendations to inform decision-making.
• Present project updates and recommendations to executive leadership and public audiences.
• Develop and track KPIs and prepare progress reports for clients.
• Identify risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with public agencies, contractors, and partners in California.
• Identify and support pursuit of new business across transportation, transit, water, energy, and public infrastructure markets.
• Lead and contribute to proposal development and grant applications.
• Develop persuasive technical narratives and win themes to strengthen submissions.
• Contribute to capture planning, market research, and account development.
• Represent Accenture at industry events and client meetings to expand relationships.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, Project Management, Urban Planning, or a related field
