Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience. US citizenship is required for access to program data.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• U.S. Person or eligible for export authorizations; US citizenship required per program restrictions.
• Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume desk in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and performance metrics.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and manage the PR-to-PO lifecycle.
• Perform price/cost analysis and place Firm Fixed Price, subcontracts and cost-type POs per FAR/DFARS.
• Proactively manage suppliers to ensure on-time delivery with status updates and recovery actions.
• Present root cause analyses and corrective actions based on metrics and supplier issues.
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (price, delivery, terms, scope).
• Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to meet objectives.
• Travel up to 30% and lead supplier onsite reviews.
