Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Sr. Supplier Manager to drive supplier engagement and sourcing across indirect spend. You will lead RFPs/RFIs, contract negotiations, and renewals while aligning supplier activities with business strategy.

The role requires 4-7 years in supplier management, strong contracting know-how, and robust stakeholder engagement. Occasional travel is expected as part of quarterly business reviews and supplier performance follow-ups.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of demonstrated experience in supplier management across indirect spend.
• Strong understanding of contracting elements and negotiations.
• Analytical capability with Excel; building tables and pivot tables for data analysis.
• Experience with project management and stakeholder management.
• Travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagement activities: sourcing, supplier reviews, RFPs/RFIs, and contract negotiations and renewals.
• Ensure supplier engagements align with business goals and strategic plans.
• Oversee contract renewals and proactive actions before renewal windows.
• Coordinate quarterly business reviews with top suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrate proactive stakeholder management and effective communication.
