Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager within the Enterprise Procurement group to lead complex negotiations and contract drafting for commodities and services across North America. You will partner with senior leaders to optimize spend, drive cost savings, and align supplier strategies with business goals.

In this role you will analyze spend and market data, manage supplier relationships, and lead or participate in RFPs while mentoring other procurement professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years procurement experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working for a bank, financial services company or indirect Procurement Organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid to high level complex negotiation/transactions and procurement projects.
• Draft contracts and perform financial reviews in collaboration with Legal, Compliance and Finance.
• Identify and implement category sourcing options with stakeholders to achieve cost savings.
• Lead RFx activity and manage supplier relationships across assigned categories.
• Analyze spend, supplier and market data to determine optimal sourcing strategies.
• Mentor and train other Enterprise Procurement team members.
