Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Senior Sourcing Strategist to elevate procurement maturity by moving beyond transactional buying and acting as a consultative partner to stakeholders across corporate services categories.

The role focuses on indirect spend areas such as HR, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance and Banking, and Legal Services, with a preference for strong category leadership and contractual negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supplier-management.
• Strong category preference towards Marketing, HR, and professional Services.
• Experience with procure-to-pay platforms.
• Oracle Fusion is their platform, but they are open to similar systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute category strategies.
• Experience leading complex RFPs and other competitive sourcing events.
• Experience using spend data, supplier information, market intelligence, and industry trends to make sourcing recommendations.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract-optimization experience.
• Working knowledge of MSAs, SOWs, contract redlines, and common commercial terms.
• Ability to conduct an initial contract review and negotiate business terms before involving Legal.
• Proven ability to identify cost savings, service improvements, supplier risks, and contract risks.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute category strategies for indirect spend.
• Lead complex RFPs and other competitive sourcing events.
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Manage strategic suppliers and drive cost, service, and risk improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to embed procurement discipline without damaging partnerships.
