Job summary

Actalent in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a Procurement / Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing and supply chain initiatives within a medical device environment. You will work directly with suppliers, analyze bids and quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage RFQs/RFPs, and track KPIs, milestones, and supplier performance, ensuring continuity of supply and project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or related project work.
RFQ/RFP and supplier quote-analysis experience.
Strong negotiation, analytical, project-management, and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

Source mechanical and electrical component suppliers.
Manage and analyze RFQs, RFPs, bids, and supplier quotations.
Negotiate supplier pricing and support vendor selection and onboarding.
Identify cost-saving, tariff-mitigation, and second-source opportunities.
Manage multiple procurement and supply chain projects.
Assess supplier risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Track sourcing milestones, KPIs, savings, and project deliverables.
Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
