Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, engineering, or technical project management.
• Hands-on experience evaluating RFQs, RFPs, supplier quotations, or bids.
• Strong supplier-facing communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze sourcing and supplier data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple sourcing and supply chain projects, including supplier risk mitigation and resilience initiatives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and electrical components used in medical devices.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier quotes, bids, pricing, lead times, and total-cost considerations.
• Lead supplier pricing discussions, negotiations, selection, and onboarding.
• Identify cost savings, tariff mitigation, and second-source opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure suppliers meet technical and compliance requirements.
• Track project schedules, milestones, risks, sourcing decisions, and savings. Develop KPIs and data-driven reporting to support procurement decisions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
