The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist II to manage routine procurement and supplier relations within assigned spend categories. You will meet with department customers to assess needs and drive compliance while supporting purchasing efficiency.

Responsibilities include executing procurement transactions, developing sourcing strategies, and coordinating supplier demonstrations. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in purchasing/sourcing or analytics.
• 7–10 years in sourcing and purchasing with supplier relationships preferred.
• Experience in higher education or decentralized/central-led environments is beneficial.
• Some roles may require sensory acuity and color/distances perception.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documents for MCW compliance.
• Execute purchasing transactions and maintain documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with departments and suppliers to identify sourcing needs.
• Develop RFIs, RFPs, RFQs; create evaluation matrices; lead negotiations.
• Promote approved contracts and supplier agreements across MCW.
