The role involves administering supplier contracts, performing spend analytics, supporting sourcing and negotiations, and partnering with departments to address contracting needs throughout the lifecycle.

The position emphasizes a customer-focused, collaborative procurement environment with governance and reporting to enhance contract compliance and financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience may be substituted by education on an equivalence basis.
• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum Required Experience: Up to 2 years in purchasing, spend analytics, desirable in professional settings.
• Preferred experience in higher education, scientific or research environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate routine contracts and amendments; coordinate with GC to finalize contracts.
• Analyze supplier contracts for cost savings, pricing, renewals, and compliance gaps.
• Develop contract performance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs across contract activities and savings.
• Perform spend analysis to support sourcing strategies and supplier consolidation.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to evaluate supplier competitiveness and trends.
• Support sourcing initiatives with financial models and total cost of ownership analyses.
