Job summary

Drive Medical is seeking a Sourcing Analyst in Port Washington, NY to advance procurement and supply chain objectives by identifying suppliers, analyzing data, and driving cost savings. You will work with cross-functional teams to support supplier negotiations, procurement activities, and performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience, with strong Excel skills and effective communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify suppliers and evaluate capabilities, pricing, and service offerings.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and sourcing improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance metrics and ensure contractual compliance.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and sourcing strategies to stakeholders.
• Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Handle PO placement, date management, weekly/monthly reports, and analytics.
