Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, and AI-related contracts.
• Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluations.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for contract drafting and analysis.
• JD, CPSM or similar sourcing certifications preferred but not required.

Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract (potential for extension or conversion)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing/Procurement Professional with experience in sourcing, procurement, and contract negotiations. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex supplier agreements, managing vendor relationships, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Experience with technology, software licensing, and SaaS agreements is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract drafting, review, interpretation, and negotiations for complex supplier agreements.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost and business value.
• Manage supplier relationships throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Conduct financial analysis of pricing proposals and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluations, and contract implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and Business stakeholders.
• Resolve supplier disputes and provide guidance on contract-related issues.
• Mentor junior sourcing and contract professionals.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with regulated industries (Financial Services or Healthcare) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• JD, CPSM, or other sourcing/procurement certifications are preferred but not required.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
