Innova Solutions is seeking an Operational Accountant for the West Des Moines, IA and Charlotte, NC hybrid role. You will support SAP-based supplier onboarding and enablement, troubleshoot issues across Ariba and PeopleSoft, and validate system enhancements through UAT.

The ideal candidate has SAP experience, a solid P2P background, and experience integrating Ariba with PeopleSoft. This W-2 role offers a strong benefits package and a 6+ month contract.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP experience including Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Registration or Ariba Network.
• Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle (P2P).
• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with UAT, test scripts, and system validation.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier onboarding, maintenance, and enablement in SAP.

Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Operational Accountant for an immediate opening.

Job Title: Operational Accountant

Location: West Des Moines, IA & Charlotte, NC - Hybrid 3 days onsite /2 days remote

Duration: 6+ months

Employment type: Fulltime/Contract

As an Operational Accountant, you will:

• Support supplier onboarding, maintenance, and enablement in SAP.
• Troubleshoot supplier, purchasing, and invoicing issues across Ariba and PeopleSoft.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document results, and validate system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Accounts Payable, and external suppliers to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain supplier master data and perform data cleanup to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience with SAP (Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Registration, or Ariba Network).
• Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
• Experience supporting integrations between SAP Ariba and PeopleSoft (or similar ERP platforms).
• Experience with UAT, test script creation, and system validation.
• Background in Procurement Operations, Supply Chain, Supplier Enablement, or Operational Accounting.
