Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define and execute sourcing strategies across multiple U.S. locations, including Houston and Midland, TX, with potential roles in Terneuzen and Tarragona.

The role focuses on aligning supplier relationships, market analysis, and high-impact negotiations to optimize Dow’s value while ensuring safety and compliance. The incumbent will lead supplier qualification processes, manage bids, and drive continuous performance improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

Define sourcing opportunities and align sourcing strategies.
Negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships to drive value.
Lead supplier qualification, RFIs, RFQ/RFP, and bid evaluations.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies meeting safety and compliance requirements.
Manage risks across markets, suppliers and purchasing activities.
Drive continuous performance improvement with KPIs (Safety, Productivity, Quality).
