Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Duluth, GA is seeking a Category Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing across electrical, mechanical, IT, MRO, and data center infrastructure categories.

You will perform complex spend analyses, develop supplier profiles and sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and partner with internal stakeholders to optimize total cost of ownership, drive value, and ensure policy compliance across a national data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in procurement, supply-chain, or engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement/supply-chain.
• Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation and management.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to gather category requirements.
• Experience leading change initiatives impacting the organization.
• Experience developing long-range sourcing plans to reduce costs.
• Procurement leadership experience across indirect categories.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing category management activities within assigned spend categories to meet business objectives.
• Develop supplier profiles and category strategies for best-in-class supply chains.
• Identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities.
• Coordinate facilities purchasing across national data center portfolio.
• Lead supplier selection and bid analysis with RFI/RFP processes.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, complex categories.
• Provide strategic guidance for TCO models to support decisions.
• Develop implementation plans with clear responsibilities and timelines.
• Lead category implementations with critical business impact.
• Monitor compliance with supplier agreements and drive savings.
• Develop long-range sourcing plans to optimize value from suppliers.
