Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Manager, Category Sourcing to lead execution and management of corporate sourcing across multiple categories, including Electrical, IT, MRO, and Data Connectivity. The role negotiates complex programs, owns enterprise agreements, and communicates the value of assigned category groupings to business units.

The manager will mentor Category Sourcing Managers, drive cost savings, and support process improvements in partnership with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in Sourcing/Procurement/Supply-Chain.
• Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation, and management of vendor relationships over $50M annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop world-class category management strategies across assigned spend areas.
• Coach and develop a team of category sourcing managers to exceed expectations.
• Lead category management activities to achieve objectives and value targets.
• Ensure contract portfolios are current and robust.
• Negotiate opportunities with vendors and improve commercial terms.
• Monitor performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Stay informed on market dynamics and industry intelligence.
