Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) in Duluth, GA is seeking a Category Sourcing Manager to lead category management for data center-related spend, including electrical, IT and facilities. You will analyze spend, negotiate contracts and drive cost optimization with internal stakeholders and senior leaders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Procurement/Supply-Chain/Engineering, 7+ years in sourcing, and strong negotiation and analytics skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, or Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
Seven or more years of relevant experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Supply-Chain.
Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation and management.
Experience building relationships with key stakeholders to gather category requirements and specifications.
Experience leading change initiatives with significant organizational impact.
Experience developing long-range sourcing plans to reduce costs and optimize value.

Responsibilities

Lead ongoing category management activities within assigned spend categories.
Drive development of supplier and industry category profiles and strategies.
Identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities.
Coordinate Facilities’ purchasing activities across a national portfolio of data centers.
Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP development and bid analysis.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, complex categories.
Provide strategic guidance to Total Cost of Ownership models.
Develop implementation strategies, responsibilities, and communications plans.
Lead implementation activities for categories with critical business impact.
Monitor compliance with supplier agreements in high-spend areas.
Develop long-range sourcing plans to reduce total costs and optimize supplier value.
Conduct spend analysis and metrics to track progress.
Negotiate, review and implement contractual arrangements per policy.
