Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Duluth, GA seeks a Category Sourcing Manager to lead category management and drive value through optimized supplier strategies. You will analyze spends, develop RFPs, and negotiate contracts with senior stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires 7+ years in Sourcing/Procurement, a strong engineering or supply chain background, and an MBA or CPSM certification is a plus. This on-site position supports a national data center footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, or Engineering or related field.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Supply-Chain
• Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation and management
• MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain (preferred)
• Procurement certification (e.g. ISM CPSM) (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead category management activities across spend categories to meet objectives.
• Develop supplier category profiles and strategies for data center sourcing.
• Identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities.
• Coordinate Facilities’ purchasing across national data center portfolio.
• Lead supplier selection, RFI/RFP development and bid analysis.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, complex categories.
• Provide guidance on Total Cost of Ownership models.
