Job summary

QTS Realty Trust seeks a Senior Manager, Category Sourcing to lead and execute category strategies for critical data-center related spend. You will mentor Category Sourcing Managers, drive cost savings, and manage enterprise agreements across multiple categories including Electrical, IT, MRO, and Facilities Maintenance.

You will partner with business leaders to optimize supplier performance, enterprise terms, and risk mitigation while staying aligned with corporate sourcing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven or more years in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply-Chain.
• Three or more years leading a procurement sourcing team.
• Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation, and vendor management over $50M annual value.

Responsibilities

• Develop a world-class category management strategy across assigned categories.
• Coach and develop a team of category sourcing managers to outperform expectations.
• Lead execution of category management activities to achieve objectives and targets.
• Negotiate supply opportunities with vendors in assigned categories.
• Participate in QBRs and provide guidance on best practices.
