Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to lead supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for SWGD manufacturing needs across North America.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, cost reductions, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure reliable material flow and supplier performance. The position requires managing supplier risk, evaluating contracts, and supporting production through effective inventory management and procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in purchasing and supplier contract management.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen supplier relationships with SWGD stakeholders.
• Manage supplier contracts, negotiations, and agreements with cost/risk analysis.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans and present recommendations to leadership.
• Support production through inventory management and optimal material levels.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Issue purchase orders aligned with forecasts and commitments.
• Oversee purchasing procedures and ensure compliance with processes.
