Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist II to manage the procurement of critical commodities for manufacturing and assembly, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. This role requires strong negotiation, supplier management, and data analysis skills, with SAP experience and a proven ability to drive cost savings. You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams, and may travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of procurement experience in power generation.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure assigned commodities for manufacturing and assembly.
• Review engineering drawings and qualify suppliers on price, quality, and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage purchase orders for timely delivery.
• Negotiate terms and coordinate with legal when required.
• Maintain records and prepare cost analyses and inventory reports.
