Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a strategic procurement manager to establish a procurement vision and optimize sourcing while developing internal talent.

The role supports Replacement Parts and EPC/Design Build, with focus on cost-effective sourcing and strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have a business/management background and hands-on capital procurement experience, plus ability to develop master agreements, NDAs, and purchasing policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or related field required.
• At least two years of relevant capital procurement experience; if no degree, six years of relevant capital procurement experience.
• Experience developing procurement strategies, master agreements, NDAs, and related policies.
• On-call position with no benefits; hours may vary weekly from zero to 40, and sometimes more.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance to support sourcing approaches for Replacement Parts and EPC/Design Build business.
• Develop and manage contracts to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
• Review, develop, and ensure compliance standards within purchasing policies and align with industry best practices.
• Develop sourcing strategies for parts and EPC subcontractors.
• Participate in business team meetings to engage and foster relationships with internal partners.
• Occasional travel will be required.
