Strategic Education, Inc. seeks a hands-on Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and risk coordination across diverse categories.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and leaders to optimize spend and drive value while coordinating the corporate insurance program with brokers and carriers. The ideal candidate has broad procurement judgment, end-to-end lifecycle experience, and strong stakeholder collaboration skills.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or related commercial experience.
• Ability to independently manage full procurement lifecycle across multiple spend categories.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess supplier pricing, contract structures, risk, and operational needs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives across a broad range of goods and services from requirement to supplier selection, negotiation, contracting and implementation.
• Develop sourcing strategies based on requirements, spend, markets, and opportunities for cost reduction or value.
• Lead competitive sourcing processes including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, bids, and negotiations.
• Negotiate terms covering pricing, service levels, renewal terms, price protections, and termination rights.
• Evaluate proposals using total cost of ownership, pricing benchmarks, and alternative structures.
• Prepare business cases and recommendations for leadership on supplier/ purchasing decisions.
• Partner with Legal and stakeholders during contract negotiations to ensure favorable commercial terms.
• Manage supplier renewals, identify opportunities to reduce cost, consolidate suppliers, and optimize terms.
• Build and maintain productive supplier relationships with appropriate governance and accountability.
• Identify opportunities to simplify supplier landscape and improve purchasing processes.
