Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a strategic procurement manager to establish a procurement vision, optimize sourcing, and develop talent to carry out procurement duties.

This on-call position requires strategic guidance for Replacement Parts and EPC/Design Build sourcing, plus contract development and policy compliance. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business-related field and at least two years of capital procurement experience; if no degree, at least six years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business administration, business management or related field
• At least two years of relevant capital procurement experience; if no degree, at least six years of relevant capital procurement experience
• Experience in developing procurement strategies, master agreements, NDAs, purchasing policies and mentoring staff

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement vision and strategic guidance for sourcing approaches in Replacement Parts and EPC/Design Build business
• Develop and manage contracts to achieve optimal terms and conditions; ensure compliance with purchasing policies
• Develop sourcing strategies for parts and EPC subcontractors; participate in business team meetings and build relationships with internal partners; occasional travel requirement
