Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management, with at least 2 years in procurement consulting.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Category experience in indirect or direct category management.
• Experience shaping and defining solutions that drive total cost reduction or capability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Act as a client-facing consultant to assess opportunities for strategic procurement improvement and lead client engagements.
• Lead process workshops, gather information, assess current state, and identify opportunities for total cost reduction.
• Identify challenges in category management and propose innovative solutions leveraging leading practices.
• Develop project plans and manage engagement delivery from start to finish.
• Own deliverables, conduct client reviews, and ensure alignment with expectations.
• Design and implement AI-driven procurement solutions to optimize decision-making and efficiency.
• Build category expertise across multiple spend areas and lead sourcing activities.
• Conduct spend and market analytics to identify savings opportunities and reductions.
• Lead teams in strategic sourcing and total cost reduction efforts.
• Foster strong client relationships and coach junior team members.
