Job summary

LGES-Honda Joint Venture, based in Jeffersonville, Ohio, is seeking a sourcing analyst to support L-H Battery initiatives. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, documenting policies, and evaluating supplier performance across the procurement lifecycle.

You will work with a cross-functional team to lead RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, analyze TCO data, and report on group activity. 0–2+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing sourcing processes and implement efficiencies.
• Coordinate RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with stakeholders.
• Evaluate supplier proposals using TCO methodologies.
• Assist in negotiating pricing and terms.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders for sourcing operations.
• Report on procurement metrics and supplier performance.

Summary

This position represents L-H Battery in sourcing activities, developing sourcing strategies, documenting the strategies, formulating policies, assisting in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), evaluating supplier performance, weekly to monthly reporting of group activity, interacting with all areas of the sourcing team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing sourcing processes and work to implement efficiencies.
• Resolve day-to-day issues and promote operational excellence in consistency.
• Lead or support competitive bidding processes including: RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Evaluate supplier proposals using total cost of ownership (TCO) methodologies.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements.
• Interact with all stakeholders internally as well as externally for everyday sourcing operations.
• Evaluate procurement metrics by measuring supplier performance and internal performance.
• Identify projects scopes, schedules and costs collaborating with procurement buyers.
• Evaluate sourcing landscape and work with buyers to strategize and document sourcing strategies.
• Project industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures.
• Report on competitive intelligence, as well as market and consumer trends.
• Source suppliers from existing supplier base, while also seeking and qualifying potential new suppliers
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or relevant experience
• 0 to 2+ plus years of experience in related field

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc..)
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good time management and prioritization skills
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations

• This role requires up to 0-5% of travel (domestic and/or international)
