Job summary

Hayes Company/Knight Swift Warehousing and Fulfillment seeks a Senior Solutions Design & Costing Manager to lead end-to-end design and costing for warehousing and fulfillment. You will build auditable cost models, drive pricing strategies, and collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure profitable, scalable solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in solutions design or pricing within 3PL settings, strong leadership, and advanced financial modeling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
Ten years of progressive experience in solutions design, industrial engineering, supply chain analytics, or pricing.
Minimum of five years in a 3PL environment designing solutions and building RFP costing models.
Experience mentoring analysts and leading teams.
Advanced financial and operational modeling skills including engineered labor standards and activity-based costing.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution design and costing for warehousing and fulfillment.
Build and maintain standardized, auditable cost models for direct/indirect labor and facilities.
Develop transaction-based, fixed-fee, cost-plus, and hybrid pricing structures.
Prepare capacity plans and 12–36 month network capacity projections.
Provide independent validation of operational and pricing assumptions during reviews.
