Job summary

Transportation Insight LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support logistics solutions that improve client business models. You will review current state, conduct detailed data analysis, and lead with strategic thinking to ensure future-state designs are profitable and operable.

This role collaborates across departments and with clients to price complex solutions and enable deal closure.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field
• MBA preferred and required if Bachelor’s degree is not in business or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management
• Minimum 4+ years of complex, consultative, solutions experience
• Direct consulting experience of transportation, logistics, and/ or TMS at the C‑Suite decision‑making level
• Proven success in driving revenue-generating solutions with tangible results
• Lean / Six Sigma Certification or Experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Communicate the value and differentiators of Transportation Insight as a logistics partner and our core competencies of services across all modes
• Gather client requirements and understand the key drivers for delivering value-based supply chain improvements
• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state
• Coordinate the assessment process for assigned validated prospects
• Hold the internal organization accountable for meeting assigned timelines
• Understand the client's systems/applications used in current state and overall objectives to propose the best solution
• Work with a cross-functional delivery team to develop a solutions strategy and operational framework
• Participate in the solution design process by facilitating prospect strategy meetings and coordinating internal resources
