Job summary

Stripe in Chicago seeks a Solutions Architect to partner with executives and technical decision makers, shaping platform solutions and monetization strategies across Stripe’s ecosystem. You will lead customer transformations, design end-to-end architectures, and drive cross-functional alignment to accelerate Stripe adoption in global markets.

The role emphasizes deep technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to both business and engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant or solutions architect.
• Strong communication and ability to present to C-level and technical teams.
• Experience with platform integrations and RESTful APIs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define the customer strategy, identify complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption.
• Provide executive-level guidance to CIO/CTO/COO/CRO/CDO and Heads of Product Engineering and Payments.
• Understand clients’ objectives and design Stripe solutions with end-to-end roadmaps and architectures.
• Conduct business analysis and market research on customers, industries and competitors.
• Lead strategy engagements with users to align to business priorities, unveil solutions through executive briefings, readouts, presentations and demos.
• Expand Stripe’s footprint within accounts to new global markets by introducing capabilities and local payment methods.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer to bring insights to leadership, product and engineering teams.
