Job summary

Our client, a growing industrial products manufacturer, seeks a site Controller in Northfield, Minnesota. You will lead the finance team, partner with the General Manager, ensure financial integrity, and drive profitability and cash flow for the site.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and US GAAP, with a track record of audits, process improvements, and building scalable accounting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, GL management, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounting and Finance Department, monthly close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and audits.
• Establish and maintain controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Drive profitability, cash flow and long-term performance at the site.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital; develop business cases for investments; assess foreign-exchange impacts.
