Job summary

NTG Staffing is seeking an experienced Site Controller with a manufacturing background to oversee all financial operations at the plant level in Northvale, NJ. This direct hire role will collaborate with plant leadership to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will manage budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, month-end close, and financial reporting, leveraging ERP systems to drive cost controls and KPI insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing finance or controller experience.
• Strong cost accounting knowledge and ERP proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the manufacturing site.
• Manage month-end close, GAAP compliance, SOX controls, and audit processes.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, cost controls, and profitability analysis.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership on cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop KPIs and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

This role will manage budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, month-end close, and financial reporting while partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA preferred), 7+ years of manufacturing finance/controller experience, strong cost accounting knowledge, ERP proficiency, and excellent analytical and leadership skills.
