Job summary

Silicon Forest Electronics in Clearwater, FL, seeks a Site Controller to lead financial reporting, controls, and planning for the site. You will partner with the Site GM and corporate finance to drive profitability and cash flow.

The role requires 5–7 years in accounting with manufacturing exposure; CPA/CMA preferred. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly close, GAAP reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and liaison with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting/finance experience; manufacturing exposure preferred.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with team supervision.
• CPA or CMA preferred; strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage MAS, Epicor) and advanced Excel.
• Understanding of FAR, CAS and tax compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely GAAP-compliant reporting and analysis for senior management.
• Manage accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, cost accounting, GL.
• Maintain financial records, journals, ledgers, and reconciliations; ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes; ensure data accuracy.
• Support inventory management and ASC 606 tracking for production.
• Assist in budget development and financial forecasts; variance analysis.
• Provide strategic financial insights to leadership for decisions.
• Ensure tax compliance and coordination with external auditors.
