Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Site Controller at the Woodridge, MN location to lead controllership for the Structural Heart division and oversee Plymouth, MN and Caguas, PR sites. You will drive financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis, ensuring robust controls and reliable financial information for site leadership.

This senior role requires strong FP&A experience in manufacturing, deep accounting knowledge, and leadership to guide the finance team and partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration with Accounting/Finance major.
• Experience/Background: Minimum ten years overall experience in FP&A with demonstrated finance leadership experience managing a large manufacturing site or group of sites.
• Proficiency in computer applications proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) and SAP.
• Full knowledge of integrated accounting cycle and information systems; past experience in manufacturing finance including absorption costing
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing team is required.
• Ability to establish systems of internal controls that comply with local and US (Sarbanes–Oxley) regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide business support, financial counsel, and direction to site leadership for all functional areas.
• Set expectations of the financial organization's role in support of business strategies and manage forecasts and actuals.
• Direct the Ops Finance SH department; supervise staff and coach team.
• Direct and manage cost accounting including budgets, costing and variance analysis.
• Coordinate monthly closing, reporting, and compliance with SOX and internal audits.
