Job summary

Nordic is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. You will establish scalable CMDB foundations and integration patterns across cloud, on‑prem, and enterprise platforms.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in CMDB data quality, CSDM alignment, and enterprise service mapping, with strong architecture leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years related experience or equivalent.
• 7+ years hands-on ITOM: Discovery and Service Maps.
• 5+ years CMDB foundations and governance experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and configuration management.
• CSA certification required; CAD/CTA preferred.
• Ability to verify and provide documentation for ServiceNow certifications during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Define overall ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB architecture and roadmap.
• Lead CMDB governance, data ownership, and data quality KPIs.
• Design CI classes, attributes, relationships, and reconciliation rules.
• Architect CMDB integration with Azure/AWS, SCCM/MECM, and other platforms.
• Implement Discovery, patterns, MID Servers, and Service Mapping.
• Build application dependency models for ITSM, ITOM, and AIOps use cases.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to validate service relationships.
