Job summary

Mettler Toledo Rainin in the United States is seeking a Service Sales Manager to own and expand service revenue across Life Sciences accounts. You will partner with seven Territory Sales Representatives to uncover new service opportunities and grow recurring revenue while strengthening customer relationships.

You will lead the end-to-end service sales cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and traveling up to 50% to meet customers and close profitable service agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience in service sales within Life Sciences or related field.
• Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong forecasting and opportunity-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the service sales strategy and targets for new business, renewals, and service revenue growth.
• Partner with Territory Sales Representatives to identify, qualify, and pursue service opportunities across Life Science accounts nationwide.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and conversion planning.
• Meet with customers to understand their service needs, conduct business reviews, and recommend tailored service solutions.
• Lead the complete sales process from proposal development and presentation through negotiation and contract close.
• Expand service penetration within existing accounts while developing new customer relationships and uncovering untapped market opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, District Managers, and Service Operations to deliver profitable service agreements and exceptional customer value.
