Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Service Project Manager to lead our customer support and project execution. You will coordinate with Global Execution Centers, supervise remote crews, and ensure commitments to customers are met while balancing technical challenges with leadership responsibilities.

The role demands strong ownership of issues, clear communication with stakeholders, risk management, and adherence to Hitachi Energy processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years in project management, field service, project engineering, or customer support.
• Proven ability to think critically and resolve issues.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management techniques such as critical path and risk mitigation.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to closing issues and leading teams.
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Be a single point of contact for customers and own project outcomes.
• Own customer-related issues and drive them to resolution with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate with Global Execution Centers to address site issues.
• Be available outside regular hours for critical issue resolution.
• Drive project activities, monitor status, and report to management.
• Manage remote work crews and specialized engineers.
• Oversee multiple projects with attention to detail and compliance with Hitachi Energy processes.
• Ensure commitments and contractual terms are met, including timely payments.
• Identify risks and mitigation options and manage scope changes.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for transportation and logistics.
