Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, or risk management.
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into business risks and actions.
• Strong program-management skills with ownership tracking and prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; works across leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end security problem management lifecycle from identification to closure and validation.
• Identify recurring incidents, control failures, vulnerabilities, and operational trends requiring investigation.
• Facilitate root-cause analyses and post-incident reviews using structured methods.
• Create and maintain high-quality problem records with impact, root cause, and deadlines.
• Distinguish root causes from symptoms and ensure remediation addresses systemic weaknesses.
• Partner with incident response teams to initiate formal problem investigations.
• Track corrective actions to completion and escalate overdue work.
• Validate remediation effectiveness and avoid shifting risk to other teams.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and systemic risks across incidents and controls.
• Develop metrics and reporting for senior leadership on recurrence and risk reduction.
• Improve problem-management processes, templates, tooling, and governance.
• Promote blameless reviews to foster transparency and learning.
