United States Senate is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the Senator’s daily schedule in Washington, DC. The role requires coordinating travel and events, anticipating conflicts, and serving as a key point of contact for scheduling matters with constituents and officials.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of scheduling experience, excellent organizational skills, and a flexible availability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of relevant scheduling experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt under pressure.
  • Professional demeanor with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, maintaining, and executing the daily schedule in D.C. with preparatory materials.
  • Coordinating travel and logistics for the D.C. schedule, meetings, and events.
  • Anticipating conflicts and changes, and resolving them proactively.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for D.C. scheduling with constituents, officials, agencies, and advocacy groups.
  • Manage and evaluate scheduling requests in coordination with Scheduling team and senior staff.
  • Backup driver and body person for the Senator as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Scheduling & Operations and assist with special projects.
