Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Business Sales Manager to lead North American sales strategy and execution for portable measurement and inspection solutions. You will manage a team of sales and application engineers, drive cross‑selling, and partner with channel distributors to expand market reach across North America.

The role requires leading regional teams, building strategic plans, and executing go-to-market programs to accelerate growth and increase ZEISS’s market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, science, or related field.
• 7+ years of sales, business development, product sales, or commercial leadership experience.
• Experience managing both direct and indirect sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct sales professionals and application engineers.
• Establish performance objectives, development plans, and accountability for all direct reports.
• Drive bookings, revenue, profitability, pipeline, and market share objectives.
• Develop, manage, and grow strategic distributor and channel partner relationships.
• Drive channel enablement through training, sales support, joint customer visits, and technical development.
