Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Business Sales Manager - Portable to lead the North American sales strategy and execution for portable measurement solutions. Hybrid work with 3 days in office and 2 remote when not traveling, supporting Wixom, MI or Huntersville, NC with up to 50% travel.

You will recruit, coach, and lead a team of sales and application professionals, drive revenue objectives, and expand channel partnerships to grow market share across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, science, or related field.
• 7+ years of sales, business development or commercial leadership in capital equipment, metrology, or related industries.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience managing both direct and indirect sales channels.
• Proven success leading teams to revenue and profitability objectives.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, and strategic planning.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales performance management.
