Job summary

Doppel Inc. seeks a Strategic Sales Engineer located in the Western US to serve as the technical linchpin of our sales process, combining deep product expertise with strategic sales acumen to help customers understand, adopt, and succeed with Doppel.

You’ll work with Account Executives to uncover pain points, design tailored solutions, and translate complex technical concepts into clear business value through demos, proposals, and implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering in SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in automation technologies and modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication to translate tech language into business value.
• Strong analytical skills with ROI-driven recommendations; prototyping experience.
• Mission-focused, team-oriented, and customer-obsessed mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to strategize deals and deliver technical presentations.
• Lead Technical Discovery to map customer environments and requirements.
• Design and demonstrate solutions with product demos and PoCs.
• Own technical responses in RFPs/RFIs and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to influence roadmap.
• Support implementations and post-sale handoffs; ensure success criteria.
• Track market trends to inform strategy and positioning.
