Job summary

QLM Search is partnering a specialist ingredients/Flavors/chemicals group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the President and forming part of the commercial and business leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 3 - 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist distribution Ingredient portfolio.

You will lead category management, drive growth through new business and key accounts, and collaborate across marketing and operations to execute

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sales Director within B2B Flavor/Fragrance/Chemicals Ingredients, ideally with distributor and manufacturer exposure.
Strong new business development and key account leadership skills.
Knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth.
Analyze market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential.
Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business meets their needs and drives customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and product launches.
