Job summary

Mac Papers + Packaging is seeking a Sr. Commercial Analyst to develop and report sales performance analytics for the commercial organization, providing insights to drive sales and margin improvement.

The role focuses on sales territory development by analyzing industry, competition, and customer segmentation data, tracking incentive campaigns, rebates, and reporting monthly incentive compensation. This position requires strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills, with experience in FP&A and

Qualifications

• College degree in quantitative discipline highly valued.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a commercial / business analytics or FP&A role.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is required, with strong preference given to candidates skilled in SQL, Power Query, and Alteryx.
• In-depth understanding of business data flow and experience with ERP systems and data warehouse tools.
• Organized and self-directed with excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective reporting and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior leadership on a regular basis.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.
• Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and report sales performance analytics for the commercial organization.
• Analyze industry, competition, and customer segmentation to drive market share and margin improvement.
• Track effectiveness of sales incentive campaigns and customer rebate programs; manage monthly incentive reporting.
• Maintain and optimize sales territory alignment with go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with Executive, Commercial, and HR Leadership on incentive program changes and implementation.
