Job summary

Ultra Machining Company (UMC) in Monticello, MN is seeking a Sales Account Manager to partner with customers, manage quotes and projects with precision, and drive excellence across teams.

You will lead site visits, conduct quarterly business reviews, and align internal planning with customer projections while contributing to continuous improvement. Strong communication and ERP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in engineering, sales, or customer service in a technical environment.
• Familiar with manufacturing ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO13485 or AS9100 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage quotes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary contact.
• Prepare and lead site visits with detailed planning and professional presentations.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Align internal planning with customer projections, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
• Verify purchase orders, confirm dock dates, and conduct open order reviews.
• Provide strategic recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for successful new product introductions.
• Travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight trips.
