Job summary

Safety Plus Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager in Birmingham, AL to lead client safety programs and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites.

You will partner with clients to assess risks, design safety management systems, and deliver training that reduces incidents and improves compliance. The role requires 3+ years of safety leadership, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple accounts with a focus on measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing safety programs or leading safety departments.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; related safety/operational/leadership experience may substitute.
• CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, SMS, CIT, or similar certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations in diverse client settings.
• Experience with USDOT, MSHA, Industrial Hygiene, Avetta/ISNetworld knowledge or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand needs and tailor safety strategies.
• Lead on-site evaluations and develop safety management systems.
• Lead training and workshops to empower client staff.
• Analyze safety audits and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor client health for retention and ensure compliance.
