Job summary

United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider. As a Sales Representative for our Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) division, you will drive profitable revenue in your assigned geography and serve as the primary contact for ROS products and services.

Report to the branch Manager, collaborate with Sales Reps across units, and provide consultative selling and product training for internal customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of technical rental sales experience in portable restrooms or related business, or comparable sales experience.
Working knowledge of ROS products and applications in the rental market.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; overnight travel.
Strategic selling and advanced negotiation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Promote ROS site services products and provide product training for internal customers.
Target customers and vertical opportunities within assigned geography.
Interact with cross-unit sales reps to identify revenue opportunities.
Utilize CRM tools to develop a pipeline of ROS opportunities.
Lead ROS response for disaster contingency plans in the geography.
Conduct site services training to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
Other duties as assigned.
