Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a ROS Sales Representative to drive profitable revenue in an assigned geography and serve as the single point of contact for ROS products and services. You will report to the branch manager and work with cross-unit sales teams on consultative selling and product training.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in technical rental sales, and willingness to travel overnight. Competitive compensation with base and commission is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of technical rental sales experience in the portable restroom, restroom trailer or related business, or comparable sales experience.
• Working knowledge of existing ROS products and applications and how they are used in the rental market.
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Overnight travel.
• Strategic selling and advanced negotiation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of site services products, technical knowledge and effective selling practices.
• In cold start markets and/or under-penetrated markets, accelerate revenue and drive education and visibility of offerings.
• Target specific customers and vertical opportunities.
• Ride Alongs with all business unit sales reps to educate and seek out revenue opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate ROS response for disaster plans in assigned geography.
• Conduct site services training to create awareness and product knowledge.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
